GCSE/ IGCSE Foundation Basics
This course will cover the fundamentals and basics on the Foundation paper – once you are able to answer all the first questions quickly and confidently it’s a smaller step to get your Grade 4 pass. Often at this stage in the year schools start to focus on the higher grade questions to go for the pass, and leave you to remember to revise the lower grade questions on your own. These are often topics you did many years ago and might have forgotten, missed those classes due to illness or Covid, or just didn’t understand first time round. Securing the basics will give you a good solid foundation to feeling confident when starting each paper, giving you a good grounding to get on to the harder questions.

This course is suitable for anyone who got a Grade 2 or below in their mocks. It is also suitable for those who scraped a Grade 3 as it will give you a good foundation for revision.

GCSE/IGCSE Foundation - aiming for a 4 or 5
This course will focus on the Grade 4 and Grade 5 topics. There is quite a step in knowledge and understanding required to move from a Grade 3 to a Grade 4 and we will focus both on understanding the mathematics behind the topics as well as the processes. Some find it easier to remember 'how' to do things whereas others find it easier to learn the 'why' – in these sessions we will cover both so you can choose your preferred way of revising.

This course is suitable for those taking the Foundation GCSE who have achieved a Grade 3 or above in their mocks. Or for those who are additionally attending the GCSE Foundation Basics course.
GCSE/ IGCSE Higher Basics - Aiming for a 5 or 6
This course will focus on the Grade 4, 5 and 6 topics on the Higher Paper. These are the earlier questions on the paper and securing a knowledge of these topics will give you a good solid foundation to feeling confident when starting each paper, giving you time to move on to the harder questions.
This course is suitable for those sitting the Higher paper who achieved a 5 or below on their mocks and wish to revise and secure their understanding of the earlier topics on the Higher Paper.

Anyone who just scraped a Grade 6 might want to join the sessions as it could be that you’re better at the higher grade questions but need to revise and review the more basic and fundamental topics that you covered more than a year ago.
GCSE/IGCSE Higher - Aiming for a 7 or 8
This course will cover the more challenging aspects of the Higher Paper, looking at both Grade 7 and 8 topics as well as how to apply these and other topics in complex problem solving questions.

This course is suitable for all those wishing to achieve a high grade in their GCSE, especially those who plan to do Maths for A level and need a minimum of a Grade 7 . Securing knowledge of these topics now will make for an easier start to your first term of A level.

* Look out for Grade 9 Masterclasses coming later in the year.
